3. Data We Collect & Why
A. On Our Website
Our website (automatehq.eu) is a static informational page. We do not use tracking cookies, marketing pixels, or analytics software (like Google Analytics). When you visit our site, our servers temporarily log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) strictly to ensure security and prevent cyber attacks. These logs are automatically overwritten and are not used to identify you.
B. During Client Communication
Because we provide custom automation architecture, we collect data when you voluntarily contact us via email, phone, or messaging platforms to discuss a project. This includes:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Information about your business workflows and software stack.
Legal Basis: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
4. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored securely on our self-hosted, containerized servers located within the European Union. We utilize encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL) for all web traffic. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Third-Party Processors
To build intelligent automations, we may utilize third-party tools (such as n8n for workflow routing or LLM providers for AI processing). We only partner with platforms that offer strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) ensuring your data is not used to train public AI models. If a project requires data to be processed outside the EU, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
6. Your GDPR Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request that we correct any inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Request that we delete your data from our systems.
- Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data.
